Good news, Columbia Gas customers! Low income Columbia Gas customers whose income is less than 200% of the FPIG who are behind in their payments, but have not received a shut off notice, can now get an extra hand with their gas bill. Columbia Gas, in an agreement with The Ohio Consumers’ Counsel and The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio, ordered funds from an interstate pipeline supplier refund be made available to any household with incomes of less than 200% of the FPIG. Eligible Columbia Gas customers can apply for the funds through their local community action agency.
