Health experts now recommend that everyone six months of age or older get vaccinated against the flu. Each flu season, different flu viruses can spread and they can affect people differently based on their body’s ability to fight infection. Even healthy children and adults can get very sick from the flu, but certain people are at greater risk for serious complications if they get the flu, including:
• People 65 years of age or older
• Children younger than five years of age, but especially children younger than two years of age
• People with chronic diseases such as asthma or diabetes
• Pregnant women

Clinic times and dates are subject to change due to vaccine availability. Additional information and a complete list of flu clinics are available at www.medinahealth.org. For more information, please call 330-723-9688 or toll-free at 1-888-723-9688. Services are partially funded by your local property tax health levy. Medina County Health Matters!
